Editorial approach
Sources, language review, uncertainty and the role of AI.
Evidence before certainty
Editors maintain a fact package for each story. The visible wording must preserve the evidence’s date, scope and certainty. An allegation, proposal or official statement must keep its attribution. A new revision invalidates older reviews; English and Hindi need separate language review against the same facts.
Writers cannot approve their own publication. Public delivery checks the current review, source grants, relevant orders and suppression state. Source withdrawal or a correction may require withdrawing dependent text and images.
AI assistance
The newsroom can request headline options, translation drafts, briefings and conceptual illustrations. These are suggestions, not automatic publication. A reviewer checks factual changes, rights, language and suitability before accepting; accepted text returns to draft review.
AI illustrations are labelled beside the image in both languages. They must not pretend to show a real event, person or document. Generated real-person likenesses and sensitive-event imagery are excluded by this launch workflow.
Independent value
We prefer useful, independently written context and direct evidence links over copying articles. Advertising approval is a separate decision from publication; no AdSense approval or revenue is promised.
