Questions
What formula is used?
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)^n ÷ ((1 + r)^n − 1), where P is the loan, r the monthly rate (yearly rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100) and n the number of months. This is the reducing-balance method most Indian banks use.
Does it include processing fees or insurance?
No. Banks may add fees, insurance or a different rate type; check your loan offer for the exact figure.
