Which GST rates apply now?
Since the rate changes that took effect on 22 September 2025, most goods and services fall under 5% or 18%, with 40% for a small list of items. Check the official rate for your item.
What are CGST and SGST?
For a sale within a state, GST is split equally between the Centre (CGST) and the state (SGST). For sales between states, the whole amount is IGST.
